CVTC has a variety of support services on campus to assist current students with academic, financial, counseling, and other special needs. When enrolled as a CVTC student, please access these services as needed to identify possible resources that can assist you in completing your educational goals.
Course/Academic Difficulties
1. Instructional Services Discuss academic difficulties with your course instructor. Your instructor can usually make recommendations for resolving your academic issues.
2. Tutoring Contact the Academic Support Center to obtain the days and times per week when tutoring services are available. Or, go to www.coosavalleytech.edu, click on Student Page, then on Academic Support Center.

3. Library Services Contact Library Services for books, audio visuals, online resources, reference assistance, Interlibrary Loan, in-house use of library computers, printer, scanner, copy machine, fax, and other resources that are available to help you succeed in your program of study.

Financial Difficulties
1. CVTC Counselors Counselors can recommend CVTC services or community agencies that can possibly assist students with financial needs.

2. New Connections to Work (NCTW) NCTW serves special population groups but will refer individuals with financial needs to community agencies for assistance.

3. WIA WIA serves special population groups. Individuals must apply and qualify for these services. If students do not qualify for WIA assistance, staff can recommend other agencies that can provide financial assistance.
