LG Chem Industrial Materials Inc. Announces Construction
LG Chem Industrial Materials Inc., a subsidiary of the LG Chem, LTD. headquartered in Seoul, Korea, has announced the construction of a new manufacturing facility in Gordon County, Georgia. The facility will manufacture acrylic solid surface materials for the North American market. The facility will employ approximately 70 associates and will begin operations in the spring of 2005.
LG Chem is a vertically integrated chemical company that manufactures a wide range of products from petrochemical goods to high-value added plastics, and high performance industrial materials. It also expands its chemical expertise to high-tech materials for electronics such as rechargeable batteries and TFT-LCD display materials.
