Tim Hart Receives CEDT Certification Tim Hart, Director of Business and Industry Services for Coosa Valley Technical College has received the designation of Certified Economic Developer Trainer (CEDT) from the Georgia Department of Technical and Adult Education (DTAE). DTAE initiated this certification program in 1986, in response to the increasing importance of high quality workforce training for Georgia's business and industrial prospects. Presently, there are 112 active CEDT’s in Georgia. The mission of the CEDT program is to foster quality and consistency in delivery of all of the DTAE’s economic development services on a statewide basis. The CEDT program goal is to assure that all Georgia businesses receive the highest level of professional support in workforce development. This program, Certified Economic Developer Trainer (CEDT), was designed for the state-level and technical college personnel whose job responsibilities focused on business and industry training for the State's economic development. Hart received the certification in a Graduation Ceremony held recently at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Macon, Georgia.
