Coosa Valley Technical College Gets a Nod from Rome High School After Tour Administrators, faculty, and staff from Rome High School recently visited Coosa Valley Technical College (CVTC) on a staff development day. Dr. Craig McDaniel, CVTC President, welcomed the guests to the campus. CVTC’s Vice President of Student Services, Dr. Steve Bradshaw, did a presentation on Coosa Valley Technical College, the benefits of technical education, and the Project REAL program that was started in the high schools. The visitors then took a tour of CVTC and were able to talk with CVTC instructors about their programs and see students at work in the labs. About a week after the tour, the words “Ask your teacher what Coosa Valley Tech can do for you” were spotted on Rome High School’s sign. This was a sure sign to staff at CVTC that the visitors enjoyed the tour and learned things about technical education they didn’t know before!
