Did you know that massage can benefit people with the following conditions?

Illness - very general techniques can be used to support the bodies healing processes, a reflexive, stress reducing methodology termed general constitutional application.

Injury - Massage can incorporate general constitutional massage, as well as promote lymph drainage to control edema at the injury site.

Inflammation - Massage can activate the release of the bodies own anti-inflammatory agents, promote healing by stimulating therapeutic inflammation, and the removal of toxins by stimulating lymph flow.

Tissue Repair - Massage can slow the formation of scar tissue and keep pliable that which does form.

Pain Management - Massage can reduce the need for pain medication by providing relief from stress induced pain, support the healing process for acute pain, and manage chronic pain with a possible progression into therapeutic change.

Impingement Syndrome - Massage can soften and stretch connective tissues and normalize muscle tension patterns, freeing up the impinged nerve.

Psychological Dysfunction - Massage provides the comfort of compassionate touch, provides pain management for chronic pain which can produce anxiety and depression, and can have a positive effect on the autonomic nervous system, producing a calming effect.
