Coosa Valley Technical College’s Training Goes Nationwide with Branson Tractors Coosa Valley Technical College recently entered into an agreement with Branson Tractors, Rome, Georgia, to offer sales training to over 200 dealerships across the United States. The eight-hour workshop entitled, “The Sales Journey & the Art of the 3 Minute Conversation” will be conducted in Indianapolis, Indiana; Dallas, Texas; and Sacramento, California.
Jim Powell, Coosa Valley Technical College’s Director of Business & Industry Services says, “We have offered this training locally on several occasions. The response for this training has been overwhelmingly positive. The Branson Tractors’ partnership is our first opportunity to take our training services to the national level.”
Branson Tractors’ Vice-President, Mark Eubanks stated, “We had a number of our corporate staff attend the workshop locally. We were so impressed, we asked CVTC to provide this for our dealers. For many of them this will be their first formal sales training, and we hope this will endear them to Branson Tractors and increase our national sales.”
Lori Barton, a sales training instructor with Coosa Valley Technical College, says, “The training emphasizes that today’s customer expectations are different and our approach to sales must change if we expect to remain competitive in the marketplace. The approach must be focused on the relationship with our customers, rather than the product or service we provide. It’s amazing to see our students learn how to make that personal connection and become a better sales professional.”
Powell states, “We appreciate the opportunity to help our local businesses and industries meet their workforce development training needs. We want companies to think of CVTC first. We provide high quality, lower-cost training and they don’t have to go to Atlanta or some other market to get what they need.”
Eubanks adds, “Coosa Valley Tech has been very responsive to our needs. Their consultants and instructors understand the needs of a growing business. We hope to maintain a long, mutually beneficial relationship.”
