CVTC’s Auto Collision Students Help Make a Marine’s Day Brighter

George Lemming wanted to do something special for his son Josh Lemming, Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corp., before he returned home from his tour of duty in Iraq.

George contacted Charles Kelley, Auto Collision Instructor at Coosa Valley Technical College, about a special project. George wanted to have his son’s truck repainted and cleaned-up. Students Jason King and Hector Guzman worked on Lemming’s truck for about a month, repairing dents and repainting the white pickup.

Lemming came home for leave in September and was able to come by and pick up his truck from CVTC. He was scheduled to return to his home-base in Cherry Point, North Carolina in early October.

CVTC was proud to assist Lance Corporal Lemming, who has given so much to his country.
