Here's what you need to know: Student Requirements Each student must participate in a 6 hour orientation process before receiving online materials.
Each student must take the TABE Assessment and have an least an eighth grade reading level before receiving online materials.
Each student must meet the minimum age requirements for GED Testing in Georgia before receiving any online materials.
Each student have access to a computer with the following: Internet Access Windows 98 or higher 128 MB RAM Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher 8x or better CD-ROM drive 14 inch color monitor 40MB Hard Disk Space
A candidate who has been determined eligible will be issued the GED Prep On-Line materials (handbook, CD, and passwords).
Each student must maintain at least sixteen instructional hours per month in order to retain the virtual seat. Virtual seats will be reassigned if requirements cannot be met at this time.
