Since its beginning as a 70-bed pavilion style structure, Floyd has continued a tradition of care by growing, adding services, building new facilities and offering the latest in medical technology. Today Floyd serves six counties as a 304-bed acute care hospital and regional referral center with more than 400,000 patient encounters annually.
