RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY ASSOCIATE OF APPLIED TECHNOLOGY DEGREE CURRICULUM COURSES
Length of Program One quarter prerequisites, seven quarters professional courses
Entrance Dates Beginning of any quarter for preoccupational courses, winter quarter for occupational courses.
Entrance Requirements Applicants must make minimum scores in reading, writing and math on the Admissions Placement Test (ASSET) or one of the approved entrance tests (SAT or ACT)to be admitted as regular students. Acceptable math and English courses may be used in lieU of an entrance exam for transfer students.
Age 17 years old for entrance into core classes 18 years old for clinical courses
Education High School Diploma or equivalent All applicants must be able to attend school regularly and meet the physical demands of the profession outlined in the Program Handbook. Additionally, all health care students must complete a Medical Checklist prior to being allowed to enter clinical education courses.
Entrance to Program Students must complete all of the following prior to admittance to the professional portion of program: Completion of Health Care Providers CPR Certification. Completion of 16 hours of clinical observation. Completion of Health information packet. Completion of College entrance requirements. Completion of all prerequisite courses with a grade of “C” or above. (Click on the link above for the list of program courses).
Upon completion of the above requirements, the student will be placed on the “program waiting list” in Student Services. Upon acceptance into the program, a minimum of 135 credit hours is required for graduation.

MAMMOGRAPHY CERTIFICATE CURRICULUM COURSES
Length of Program One or two quarters
Entrance Dates Beginning of any quarter, offered online.
Entrance Requirements Applicants must make minimum scores in reading, writing and math on the Admissions Placement Test (ASSET) or one of the approved entrance tests (SAT or ACT)to be admitted as regular students. Acceptable math and English courses may be used in lieu of an entrance exam for transfer students. You must be an R.T.(R) in order to enter the program. The mammography program consists of 3 courses, RAD 251, RAD 252 & RAD 253. RAD 251 is clinical, RAD 252 is positioning & anatomy and RAD 253 is the equipment, QA and physics.
