Biography |
Jan Carney is a native to Rome, Georgia. She holds an Associates degree in Mathematics from Floyd Collge and a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mathematics from Georgia State University. While at GSU, Mrs. Carney was a Golden Key Honor Society Member, a double major in Information Systems and graduated magna cum laude. She graduated with honors and was the recipient of the Gina Rowlands Memorial Scholarship award.
In addition to her academic achievements, Ms. Carney has a vast background in working within the computer industry. She worked for General Electric Information Systems as a programmer.
Before coming to work for Coosa Valley Technical College as our Networking instructor, Ms. Carney owned her own company. Carney Computer Associates specialized in providing corporate computer training and networking services. |
